Handsome Brindle Dog Available for Adoption in New Jersey: ‘Old School’ Charmer

A beautiful brindle mix pup in New Jersey is looking for a forever home.

Carmine, who is estimated to be around two years old, is currently awaiting adoption at Sammy’s Hope Animal Welfare and Adoption Center located in Sayreville, NJ, in Middlesex County.

While Carmine’s origins are unknown, it’s clear he used to live in a house, as he appears to be house-trained and walks “well” on a leash, according to the shelter.

Sammy’s Hope staff told Fox News Digital they were just happy he found his way to the safety of their shelter.

At two, Carmine has an “old-fashioned” charm, the staff reported, and he prefers to take some time off to get to know new people.

Carmine enjoys spending time with her friends, cuddling on her lap, eating well and taking long walks on the beach, the staff also said.

“He’s willing to try just about anything as long as he does it with friends,” the staff at Sammy’s Hope reported.

The staff also said that Carmine “takes the treats gently.”

The young pup is eager to find a home of his own and caring, patient and loving owners, the shelter noted.

Sammy’s Hope added that Carmine “just knows the right family is out there” for him.
